Initial Configuration by Telephone Set

Freego EIA 2000 series gateway

Mode One [Dynamic IP]:

Set gateway to Dynamic IP mode：*150*2#，then you will hear a prompt message “setting successfully”, 5 seconds later, Power off and on gateway again.    

Mode One [Static IP]:

Set gateway to Static IP mode：*150*1#         

1)        Set gateway IP Address to：*152*192*168*1*100#, means local IP Address is 192.168.1.100

2)        Set gateway Net Mask to： *153*255*255*255*0#,means local mask is 255.255.255.0

3)        Set Router IP address：*156*192*166*1*1#, means local default gateway is 192.168.1.1

Remark: Each step done, you will hear a prompt message “setting successfully”, then hand up, then pick up the phone and continue next step. When all above four steps are done, 5 seconds later, Power off and on gateway again.

How to inquire information of gateway:

1)        Inquire Current IP Address of gateway： *158#

2)        Inquire Telephone phone number of each port： *114#

3)        Recall voice message of FXO ports：*195#

How to record a new voice message to FXO ports：

Key in*199#, then start to record the voice message, after recording, wait about 2 seconds，press symbol “#” to finish recording.

Remark: Recording length within 10 seconds.

Sample：

Pick up the ear phone, Dial *199#，then start recording：“Hello，Thank you for calling Octavo Cooperation，Please dial the destination number”，after recording, wait about 2 seconds，press symbol “#” to finish recording.

How to record a new voice message to a all FXO port gateway：

   First , We should connect a PSTN or an extension line to any FXO port, then dial the number which is connected to the FXO port, then you will get a prompt voice message ,key in *199# to start recording, after recording, wait about 2 seconds，press symbol “#” to finish recording.
